Dell launched multiple Windows 8 devices in India, of which was the Latitude 10 tablet. This tablet comes with a 25.6centimetre (10.1 inch) IPS (1366 X 768) wide view angle LED display which comes with Corning Gorilla glass, and supports capacitive 10 finger touch and optional Wacom Active Stylus. It is powered by Intel's Clover Trail processor and comes with 2GB RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. It also has a 533 MHz Intel graphics media accelerator. Since built for businesses, high priority is given to the security features which include Dell Data Protection Access, Intel Platform Trust Technology, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 (optional), chassis lock slot support, and support for optional Computrace. The tablet comes with a 2-cell (30Whr) Lithium Ion battery, or an optional 4-cell (60Whr) Lithium Ion battery. The most unique factor is that the batteries are swappable, which is a very unique feature for a tablet, again pointing at its intended business use. It features a 2 megapixel HD front facing webcam and an 8 megapixel rear primary camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, and Bluetooth 3.0. There is also an SD memory card reader, docking connector, stereo headphone / microphone combo jack, Mini-HDMI, Micro-USB charging port, and Micro-SIM port. The tablet’s reinforced magnesium alloy frame along with its Corning Gorilla glass provides an immense amount of business-rugged durability to the tablet, or in simple English it is made to take punishment and keep working.
