Strontium AUTO USB

Strontium Technology, a Singapore based PC and flash memory manufacturing company, has brought to the Indian market its latest series of USB memory drives.

According to the company its new Strontium AUTO USB is a USB flash drive that is specifically designed for Car Audio System. This series is available in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB variants. The 16GB variant can store up to 4000 songs or 16 hours of video. They also come equipped with the latest COB (Chip on Board) and micro COB USB flash module which ensures fast and reliable data transmission to improve productivity in daily data usage. The company has made sure that the new series is USB 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 compatible.

It can offer a maximum reading speed of 25 MB per second, while the maximum writing speed is at 5 MB per second. Manufactured using high quality polycarbonate materials the drives are capable of withstanding high temperature and physical impact, yet are very light weighing no more than 3 grams. The new series is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems, and also supports plug and play. The company claims very high durability for the flash drive with a minimum of 50,000 insertions and 500000 hours to 1500000 hours of mean time between failures. The company is offering 5 years of hassle-free limited warranty for the product.

Strontium AUTO USB will be available in blue and black colours. “With the growing popularity of in-car entertainment systems with usb ports, users can now easily enjoy songs from their music library while driving.
