Capsicum Palak Gravy

Ingredients :

  • » 1. Capsicum – 2 big size
    2. Palak – 2 bunch
    3. Coriander leaves – half bunch
    4. Green chillies – 6 or 8
    5. Ginger – ½ inch
    6. Tomato – 2 medium size
    7. Onion – 3 medium size
    8. Cloves – 5
    9. Cinnamon – ½ inch
    10. Cardamom – 1
    11. Saunf/Ani seed – ¼ tea spoon
    12. Salt
    13. Sugar – 1 tea spoon
    14. Garlic – 3 or 4 (if required)
    15. Oil – 4 table spoon
    16. Onion – 1 to fry
    17. Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
    18. Fresh cream – 2 table spoon
Preparation :

How to make Capsicum Palak Gravy :

  • • Boil 5 mins cleaned palak and make fine paste.
    • Cut capsicum into cubes, boil and keep aside
    • Grind onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, cloves cinnamon, cardamom saunf and green chillies raw.
    • Heat oil in pan add mustard seeds.
    • Add finely chopped onion and fry till it turns brown in colour.
    • Add ground masala and cook it until raw smell subsides.
    • For cooked masala add palak paste and boil this until raw smell subsides.
    • Finally add salt, sugar and boiled capsicum
    • Garnish with fresh cream.
    • Serve this with Masala Chapathi, roti or plain Chapathi.
