Padmini - Talent Beyond Expectations

Padmini Jagadish recently performed at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore

Padmini Jagadeesh, a dance teacher in National Academy For Learning (NAFL), performed Kuchipudi, an Andhra style traditional dance form on Sunday, 7th October 2012 at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore.

Padmini had a passion for dance always, she has been working NAFLas a dance teacher from past 3 years.

She started learning dance at the age of 4. She has been professionally trained in Bharathanatyam for 15 years under the guidance of Guru Dr.Vasundhara Doraiswamy. She even received the prestigious C.C.E.R.T scholarship at a very young age. She has taken part in several competitions and secured 1st prizes in most of them. She also has scored distinction in all the exams related to dance that she has appeared for.

Apart from Bharatanatyam She has also been performing other dance forms like folk, Bollywood and other Indian dances too and has been trained in western dance like hip-hop, jive, cha cha, salsa and jazz funk by LVDS Bangalore.
Padmini is also a brilliant choreographer and has choreographed for many schools and colleges for competitions and annual day concerts, conducted workshops for many corporate companies.

Presently is being trained in Kuchipudi dance under Smt.Veena Murthy Vijay for the last 3 years.

She also does event management and along with her mother and 2 elder sisters have a trust named SANGEETHA SAMBHRAMA, which has been organizing National Music and Dance festival every year.
